I'm young, single good laugh man with
a positive and outgoing attitude.
I finished the High Scool of Fine Arts where my major subject was
designing of usable forms and carving. I was
taught as well subjects such as: painting, drawing, sculpting, typography,
graphic design and history of art. So I have got a base for my profession
but the absolute majority of my skills come from experience and
literature. It is a hard
but the best way, I think. My teachers have tought me two very important
things.
First: "You can put everything into your design, but where
will you find a technologie for application of them to make
it real". During the last 10 years I have broken the ice between
me and prepressing for most publishing technologies, signmaking
and outdoor advertisement as well. In the meantime the Proofing
and Publishing technologies have expanded very much but still some
things remain impossible to be done, for example reproduction of
the spider net
at the dark brown background with process color on newsprint paper
at coldseat machine.
Second: "Only God is able to make a perfect works, but all
you can do is to make them look like perfect". And I can.
I am a certified Agfa's Apoge system user so rips, proofers and
imposition software are something ordinary for me.
In the house of print I fill like home. Densitometers and spectrophotometer
I am finding as usual tools. Installing
and configuring software or calibrating devices is not a big challenge
for me. Scanning, retouching and correcting
is my favourite part of the prepressing process. As you can see
I can do a little bit in webmastering also. I know what means: the
javascript, php, flash and DHTML but I can't tell I'm proficient
in that. I'm a sociable and friendly person. Working as freelance
I had to learn a lot: how to be flexible and persuasive at once
in an environment where
the clients leave an order to the last moment and wants their job
to be done at first and immediately.

have worked with really big things in a very different conditions

Some
of my qualifications are certied by AGFA
Privately I'm keen on listening to a good music in a different styles
starting from punk rock, post punk, indie rock
and grunge through the roots reggae, some ambient and kind of house
until Miles Davis. To be a D.J. is one
of my hobbies. My favourite movie - Pulp Fiction. My favourite wrighter
- Erich Maria Remarque. My vision of the ideal boss - hmm... better
to say it later.
